Migrating Snow Geese
Confronted by Canada Goose Defending Territory
In the third week of March of 2020, the world was changing rapidly. With the spread of Covid-19 and the beginning of lockdowns, most humans were indoors with their vehicles off, and wild species were discovering new places in a quieter world. That may not be relevant here, but it is the only sighting of Snow Geese I've had on this mountain and the correlative timing may or may not be causative. Alternately titled “Social Distancing”.
