Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake
This Rattlesnake was killed moments after the first photo, run over by a Florida Man in a pickup on his way to fish in the Everglades National Park. A Red-Shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus) immediately dropped from its perch to wait for the snake to stop writhing before flying off with it.
